Working Principle
The multi-component gram weight automatic weighing, metering & extrusion control system consists of a vacuum suction feeding system, a material storage system,a weighing and batching system, a mixing and loss-in-weight weighing system,a central feeding system, and a host computer system.
During operation, the central feeding system cooperates with the vacuum suction feeding system to convey raw materials to the material storage system.During batching, high-speed valves cooperate with weighing sensors to convey raw materials to the batching system in sequence according to the set ratio.After batching is completed, the materials automatically enter the mixing and loss-in-weight weighing system and are then automatically and continuously conveyed to the screw.The host computer calculates the real-time output by collecting the loss-in-weight signals from the high-precision weighing sensors below the weighing barrels.Meanwhile, the host computer is connected to the screw main units for communication and precisely controls the total output and layer ratio by adjusting the extrusion volume of each layer of the screw main units.The host computer controls the film thickness by introducing signals such as traction signals, width signals, and raw material density.
The system has functions such as data storage, data query, data export, formula management, and remote service.

Advantages
· The multi-component automatic weighing, metering & extrusion control system (multi-component gram weight) can control up to seven main machine screws. It can be combined with single-component, two-component, or multi-component systems in any way, with a control accuracy of 0.2%.
· Each multi-component system can handle the batching of up to 8 types of raw materials. When batching 8 types of raw materials, 2 of the minor ingredients are batched using a precision screw extrusion weighing batching method, which can replace a high-precision color masterbatch machine.
· The multi-component system is equipped with a 7.5KW/11KW high-power central suction feeder with automatic back-blowing dust removal. The formula management system and data processing system support traceability query, export, and remote services to ensure product quality.


Control of total output: The system calculates and measures the current extrusion output by rapidly collecting the loss-in-weight signals from the high-precision weighing sensors at the bottom of the weighing barrels. After the user sets the total output independently, the system automatically controls the extrusion volume of each layer of the screw main units to make the actual output consistent with the set output, with a control accuracy of up to 0.2%.
Control of layer ratios: By independently setting the total output and the percentage of each layer ratio, the control system automatically and precisely controls the extrusion volume of each layer of the screw main units according to this ratio, with a control accuracy of up to 0.2%.
High control accuracy: The overall control accuracy of the system reaches 0.2%. For the preparation of color masterbatch (minor ingredients) in a two-component gram weight system, the precision screw extrusion control ratio can reach about 20%. For an 8-component system equipped with two precision screw extrusions, the control ratio can reach about 15%.

Good Compatibility Performance:The multi-component gram weight system can freely combine 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 kinds of plastic raw materials according to the requirements of product specifications. The high-precision online weighing sensors cooperate with the high-speed valve control system to achieve precise proportioning of various plastic raw materials. The reciprocating spiral stirring technology ensures that various plastic raw materials are fully mixed, effectively avoiding color differences, and the control accuracy can reach 0.2%.
Control of Film Thickness (Thickness/Gram Weight per Meter):The system measures and calculates the actual traction speed by collecting encoder signals, and then compares it with the set traction speed (thickness). At the same time, signals such as the width of the film and the density of the raw plastic material are introduced. The upper computer precisely controls the rotation speed of the traction frequency converter to make the set thickness value consistent with the actual thickness value. In this way, it ensures that the thickness/gram weight per meter of the extruded plastic product conforms to the specifications required by customers, and the control accuracy can reach up to 0.2%.
